This October, some of our wonderful Quo Group team have been off travelling in Darwin to attend two medical conferences as a healthcare IT service provider. We had the pleasure of attending AAPM, and RMA.
The Australian Association of Practice Management (AAPM) is a not-for-profit, national peak organisation that dedicates support, provides resources, and promotes effective practice management in Australian healthcare. The AAPM includes all fields of healthcare, including general practice, allied health, dental, physiotherapy, podiatry, and specialties.
The AAPM holds an annual national conference for medical professionals, providers, partners, and suppliers. It is an opportunity for industry leaders to network, discover new opportunities, and discuss the latest industry trends in healthcare management, including data security and telehealth.
Quo Group joined the AAPM 2024 conference with a booth crewed by some of Quo’s Canberra and Caloundra team. We were able to speak with fellow providers and potential partners about how we work hard to keep Australian data safe, and the fully inclusive cloud solutions we’re passionate about providing to medical centres around the country. And of course, we had some goodies to give away too!
We had great fun hanging out with the team from our own trusted industry partner, Heartbeat Digital, heading out to dinner to enjoy the beautiful ocean views out on the Darwin town. It was a beautiful backdrop to discuss some exciting future ventures!
Quo Group also attended The Rural Medicine Australia (RMA) 2024 conference as an exhibition partner. The RMA holds a national conference specially geared towards rural and remote doctors around Australia. Our team engaged directly with owners and practice managers to better understand their daily challenges and needs, as rural medical practices of small country towns face unique circumstances that require tailored support. Remote areas are more prone to natural disasters, have limited access to emergency services and support, and often experience more frequent drop outs. Therefore, our robust and reliable redundancy and backup systems are keeping remote clinics online so they can continue to provide clinical care.
Quo Group’s Director teamed up with our Business Development Manager, and our Network and Security Manager to deliver a presentation on the solutions we provide for all kinds of healthcare. From inner city to remote towns, they explained how our systems excel the high standards of security required in the ever-growing threat of cybercrime, even in the more vulnerable areas that won’t be equipped for such situations.
To demonstrate our services, we set up trial stations at our booth, allowing attendees to explore and test our services hands-on, which gives a unique opportunity to highlight our commitment to supporting healthcare professions with reliable, user-friendly technology.
We had a great time mingling with others in the medical and technical fields, and showing how our services can help benefit Australian healthcare, and we can’t wait for what next year might bring!
